Last week to the Holidays!

 Hello to all!

Wasn't the weather wonderful on Saturday.

I hope you had fun on Earth Day ( last Friday) playing Jeopardy.
I had so much fun that I forgot to give you homework!

Anyway, don't expect to play anymore game anytime soon! We have quite a bit of work to do this week and after the holidays! ;-)
But I promise we'll play Taboo and or Jeopardy again....after the assessment!

For this week, we'll start on a new chapter for Maths and do some revision for Science.

Week 8

Welcome back!
Only 2 more weeks to the May holiday!!! Who's counting?

I hope you are happy with your CCAs. I am !

This week is Earth Week, International Earth Day is on April 22.
If you have an Earth Day T-shirt from last year, please wear it on Thursday.

We'll be doing Graphs this week along with some revision.
The survey we're doing in Science is of course, helping us to SAVE THE EARTH!

Week 7

 I hope all of you are having a great weekend.
I was caught off guard by the dreadful weather.
After being in Suzhou for so many years, I'm still amazed at how the weather can take such a drastic turn within hours.

I spent Saturday night watching the live telecast of the Royal Wedding between Prince Charles and Camila. Do you know who they are?

Anyway, there's just 3 more weeks to the May break!
This week, we'll be looking at the source of Electricity. You are reminded to do some independent reading.

As for Maths, we'll be starting a new unit on Rate.

Say cheese...

Even though the weather wasn't good, we had our class photos taken outside on the school field. We hope to get the photos soon. Don't worry, I will definitely show them to you once I have them.

5C, you will have to see yours from Mr Manning.

We finished the Science Court trial on Electric Current today. I hope you now have a better idea on the topic and understands the flow of the electrons.

Some changes

Class Photo taking has been changed to Wed, because there's CCA signup on Thus after the assembly.

The class photo is for the Year Book, you will not get a copy of the photo. Sorry. But you will get the Year Book at the end of June! The time for photo taking is:

5C - 9:40am

5G - 9:50am

On Thurs, the Y3-5  will remain in the Sports Hall after the assembly, to sign up for their CCAs.

Week 6

What's happening this week?

Thurs is when everything happens:

At 9 am, we are choosing our CCA for the last term. This last CCA for the school year will last exactly 10 weeks.

At 9:40, Y5C will be taking their class photo and at 9:50 Y5G will do the same.

Happenings in April

Nest week, all the classes will have their class photos taken for the Year Book.

I will advise you the exact date for your classes on Mon.

Also, CCA sign up is on Thurs. If you haven't got the CCA pamphlet, please speak to your homeroom teacher.

Earth week is coming up in the middle of April. Stay tune on what's happening.

Long Weekend!

It's time for paprents to meet the teachers again.

While you students are home having fun....your parents will be chatting with the teachers about you.

I'm sure your ears will itch all day on Friday.
